Courtesy of Live NationWhen Daryl Hall & John Oates kick off their summer tour with Train, a portion of each night’s show will feature the two acts performing together. But in addition to their many hits, there might also be a brand-new collaborative song thrown into the set list for us to enjoy.

Speaking to Forbes magazine, Train frontman Pat Monahan says, “Daryl and I and John, we recorded a new song together. I think we are going to put that out very soon, so that we can perform it together on the road.”

Hall, meanwhile, tells Forbes he’s looking forward to having Monahan hit the stage with Oates and him during the forthcoming concerts, something he says will remind him of his popular performance series Live from Daryl’s House.

“The end of this show will be our songs and his songs…that will definitely be fun,” Daryl maintains. “That’s…going to be my favorite part of the show. That is basically what I do on TV, going to do it on stage, and every night, keep it loose.”

The Hall & Oates/Train tour gets underway May 1 in Sacramento, California, and is mapped out mapped out through an August 11 concert in Seattle.
