Andrew Potter/AXS TVSaturday night’s alright for a “Saturday Stack” from Elton John. AXS TV will give Sir Elton the Stack treatment next Saturday, May 12, when the network presents a curated back-to-back lineup of live performances and documentaries spanning John’s career.

The programming kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET with Rock Legends: Elton John, a combo of “”rare footage [and] unforgettable performances” that examines his influence on rock and roll. That’s followed by Elton John: Music Man, a career-surveying documentary with tons of behind-the-scenes footage.

The Saturday Stack then takes a close look at one of Elton’s most important releases with Classic Albums: Elton John: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, set to air at 2:40 p.m. ET.

Mid-afternoon and early evening, the coverage turns to live performances, with Elton John: The Million Dollar Piano, recorded during his Caesar’s Palace residency of the same name in Las Vegas. It includes Elton’s classic hits, including “Levon,” “Rocket Man,” “Your Song,” “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” “Benny and the Jets,” and many more.

Lastly comes BRITs Icon: Elton John, which captures his receiving the first-ever BRITs Icon award, including a guest appearance by Rod Stewart and performances of “Sad Songs (Say So Much),” “Tiny Dancer,” and “I’m Still Standing.”

If you’re still standing after all that — or if you missed a moment or two of any of those programs — AXS TV will run encore Elton performances all through the night.
