MPL/Mary McCartneyPaul McCartney has made a previously unreleased Wings song available as a free download exclusively at his official website to celebrate the arrival this week of deluxe reissues of 1975’s Venus and Mars and 1976’s Wings at the Speed of Sound albums. The track, titled “Love My Baby,” was recorded in 1974 during the filming of the One Hand Clapping documentary, which features McCartney and Wings playing tunes from 1973’s Band on the Run album.

“Love My Baby,” which was given its premiere on the Buzzfeed website earlier on Wednesday, is an old-timey ditty featuring McCartney singing with accompaniment from what sounds like a celeste.

One Hand Clapping, which was filmed at London’s Abbey Road Studios, was included in the deluxe editions of Band on the Run that were released in 2010.

As previously reported, the deluxe reissues of Venus and Mars and Wings at the Speed of Sound both feature a bonus CD with demo recordings and previously unreleased tracks, as well as a DVD containing footage filmed around the time of each album’s original release.
