Image Courtesy of Jo LopezJust a reminder that The Concert for Valor, an all-star event featuring Bruce Springsteen and many other big-name artists, will air live from the National Mall in Washington, D.C., tonight on HBO. The free show, held in conjunction with Veteran’s Day, also will include performances by Metallica, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Jennifer Hudson, Eminem, Zac Brown Band, Rihanna, The Black Keys and Jessie J.

In addition, The Concert for Valor will feature appearances by such major celebrities as Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Jamie Foxx. Hanks also is serving as an executive producer for the event, which will pay tribute to veterans, armed-forces members and their families while raising awareness about organizations focusing on issues of health, education and reemployment.

In a video promo for the event, various celebrities, including Grohl, Hanks and Oprah Winfrey, ask viewers to take photos of themselves placing their hands over their hearts to honor American’s veterans and service members and post them to social media, tagging them with the hashtag #TheConcertforValor. The Concert for Valor will air on HBO beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Non-subscribers will be able to view the special as well.
