That show will take place April 3, and tickets are on sale now, along with his concerts for January 9, February 18 and March 9, all at the legendary venue. The February 18th show will mark Joel’s 60th show at the Garden. Only one artist has played more — Elton John, who’s done 64 — but if Billy keeps adding shows, he will surpass his former tour mate in June.

If Joel sells out the January show, he’ll be the first solo artist to sell out 13 consecutive shows at Madison Square Garden in a single run. The previous record — 12 sold-out shows — was set by Billy himself back in 2006.

But Joel isn’t forgetting his fans in other cities: He also has shows scheduled in Miami and Atlanta in the new year with, presumably, more to come.
