ABC/Image Group LAThe star-studded CMA Country Christmas special airs tonight on ABC. In addition to the many major country artists featured in the show, Aerosmith‘s Steven Tyler is on hand to bring a little rock ‘n’ roll to the holiday extravaganza.

Tyler teams up with Brad Paisley for a rendition of Chuck Berry‘s yuletide classic “Run Run Rudolph,” which happens to be the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s favorite all-time Christmas song. When he got the call to join the CMA Country Christmas lineup, Steven says, “I just hit the ceiling, and I said, ‘I’m in.’ We just did it, and the proof is in the pudding — Christmas pudding, that is.” You can check out a preview clip of the performance at the Country Music Association’s official YouTube channel.

Jennifer Nettles hosts the program and also duets with Tony-winning actress and pop singer Idina Menzel. Other performers who appear on the special include Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Sara Evans, LeAnn Rimes, Little Big Town, Michael W. Smith, Brett Eldredge, Hunter Hayes and Lucy Hale.

CMA Country Christmas airs from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
