Live Nation EntertainmentTwo of the world’s most celebrated horn-driven pop-rock bands, Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire, will join forces for a major North American co-headlining trek this summer. The Heart and Soul Tour 2015 is scheduled to get under way July 15 in Concord, California, and is plotted out through a September 6 show in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The outing will feature at least 25 dates across the continent and will include stops in such major cities as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Denver, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Toronto, and Boston. Tickets for most of the shows will go on sale starting Friday, March 13 at LiveNation.com. Visit ChicagoTheBand.com and EarthWindAndFire.com for more information.

Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire previously toured together in 2004, 2005 and 2009.

“One of the most exciting things about the show is when both bands perform at the end of the concert,” says Chicago trumpet player Lee Loughnane. “Having these 21 very talented musicians playing our greatest hits together puts the excitement level at a fever pitch! From the Heart of Chicago and the Soul of Earth, Wind & Fire, it is an unforgettable experience.”

Adds Earth, Wind & Fire singer Philip Bailey, “This is a real treat for fans of both groups to experience again the power-packed collaboration of Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago…We are looking forward to it ourselves — it has always been one of our favorite tours.”
