The event, which is named after the singer’s 1973 debut solo album, also will include a headlining performance by The Doobie Brothers, as well as sets by founding Allman Brothers drummer Jaimoe and his Jasssz Band, Bruce Hornsby with his current group The Noisemakers, and City of the Sun.

More artists will be announced soon. The festival also will feature food and beverages from more than 20 local restaurants, breweries and wineries.

“Creating this fest has been a lot of fun,” says Allman in a statement. “Good music, good food and drink and a beautiful beach — what could be better?”

Tickets and VIP packages for the festival go on sale this Friday, May 1, at 9 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.com and LaidBackFestival.com. The VIP offers include a clam bake on the beach and limited-edition concert posters.
