Dave has revealed via a message on his Facebook page that he’ll be releasing a new live album in August.

No other details about the record have been announced, but the note tells fans to stay tuned for more information. Davies also has scheduled his first solo tour dates of 2015, an October concerts at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston and a three-night stand, October 9-11, at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

The 68-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s most recent trek, which was in support of his 2014 album Rippin’ Up Time, wound down this past December. During the trek, he performed selections from the new record as well as a variety of classic Kinks songs, including “I’m Not Like Everybody Else,” “I Need You,” “Tired of Waiting for You,” “Strangers,” “Death of a Clown,” “All Day and All of the Night” and “You Really Got Me.”
