Credit: Eleanor StillsStephen Stills has joined his Crosby, Stills & Nash band mates David Crosby and Graham Nash in lining up a series of solo shows during the downtime in the group’s 2015 tour schedule. Stills’ just-announced solo trek kicks off July 6 in Alexandria, Virginia, and is plotted out through an August 4-5 stand in San Juan Capistrano, California.

The outing also includes stops in such major cities as New York; Louisville, Kentucky; Charlotte, North Carolina; Nashville; Atlanta; Austin and Dallas, Texas; Phoenix; and Riverside, California. The shows will feature Stills playing a solo acoustic set and an electric set with a backing band made up of CSN touring bassist Kevin McCormick and keyboardist Todd Caldwell, as well as drummer Mario Calire. Stephen will play a career-spanning selection of songs from his various bands and solo career, plus some brand-new tunes.

Tickets for the concerts will go on sale to the general public starting this Friday, May 15, at StephenStills.com.

Stills currently is on the road with CSN, whose spring U.S. trek is slated to wrap up on May 20 in Wallingford, Connecticut. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trio’s tour will pick up again in September, when they launch a month-long European trek. Meanwhile, Crosby has solo dates running from early June to early July, while Nash has his own solo outing mapped out from the middle of July to mid August.

In other news, Stephen recently finished recording a second album with his blues-rock supergroup The Rides, which also features Kenny Wayne Shepherd and ex-Electric Flag keyboardist Barry Goldberg. No release date has been confirmed for the record.
