The band has scheduled an eight-night residency this October at the famed Big Apple venue that will include full-album performances of Aja, Gaucho and The Royal Scam on select evenings; “Greatest Hits” shows; and a “By Popular Demand” concert.

The shows are scheduled for October 6, 7, 9, 10 13, 14, 16 and 17. The October 17 performance has been dubbed “The Most Unforgettable Night of Whatever” and, according to a press statement, it will feature “spectacular musical guests, glorious tunes and riffage, and whatever the party calls for!”

Tickets for the Beacon Theatre concerts will go on sale to the general public on June 5 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 800-745-300. Pre-sale tickets are available for American Express card members now through June 4 at 10 p.m. ET. In addition, four-night packages for the first four and the last four shows of the run, respectively, are available that cost the price of three tickets. A special package featuring tickets for all eight concerts for the price of six also is being sold.

Prior to the Beacon residency, Steely Dan will head out on a previously reported U.S. summer tour that kicks off July 6 in Morrison, Colorado, and is mapped out through an August 12 show in West Palm Beach, Florida. Elvis Costello and the Imposters will open nearly all the dates on the trek.
