Heidi introduces you and the kids to simple techniques for learning and practicing coping skills that show you how to decompress, relax and stay stress free. Kids will think they’re playing while they’re really gaining the benefits of yoga! Sessions begin with warm-up activities and include breathing and stretching techniques. You can join them too for additional nominal fee. Recommended for children ages 6 to 10. Fee: Members – $20.00, Non-members – $25.00. Creative Clay
All levels welcome! Rekindle your creative flame with weekly visits to our clay studio. Work alongside local artist James Mata from Earthbound Studios to get an intro to the pot shop, tools and medium. Artist demos and instruction on hand-building techniques are offered the first ½ hour each session only. During the remaining time students work independently. Beginners are welcome as well as those with clay experience. Students with throwing experience may practice on the wheel.

Come enjoy the music of Nashville artist Tim Thompson, this Wed. Sept. 30th at 7:30pm in the Arts Center Studio. Thompson will appear here with his son Myles, already a fine fiddle player at 15. Tim is the 2008 Walnut Valley Festival International Finger-style Guitar Championship. Since moving to Nashville in 1993 he has released 6 albums and produced numerous records for other artists.
