Munising – Tale Spinners Story Time will be held on Monday, September 6 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Munising School Public Library.

Munising – Volunteers for Tour Da Woods are needed for Friday, September 10 for packet pick-up and the spaghetti feed at 4 p.m. at Sydney’s.

Volunteers are also needed on Saturday, September 11 beginning at 9 a.m. for the start of the 15 mile race and on Sunday, September 12 beginning at 9 for the Tour da Valley race for kids, all at Valley Spur.

Munising – Munising’s Rotary Club will sponsor a Cruise Around Grand Island on Monday, August 16 at 6:30 p.m. beginning at the Munising Harbor.

Hors d’oeuvres will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $30 and available at Peoples State Bank, Shipwreck Tours and from Rotary members.

Late last week I had Char Carberry in here and we talked and talked! By the time our interview was over, I had the opportunity to break it up into a few interviews. She had so much good information for us and she is so passionate about this- it was a blast with her! I played the first part on Friday and was able to get the second part played this morning.
