GEORGE IN THE MORNING

Ali Stark worked as an installer for McCabe’s Quality Flooring. He was 26, married with a daughter, River, when he was tragically taken from them in a car accident December 29, 2011. His wife and child were his world and he did everything in his power to protect them.
I have said all that to say this: to insure his daughter’s future, an educational savings fund is being created in her name. This will help support the family during this difficult time. Checks can be made out to Edward Jones and dropped off or mailed to McCabes’s flooring at 101 Genesee Street in Marquette.
I hope our listeners will get behind this to help this young widow and her daughter, as I have witnessed this so many times before.

GEORGE IN THE MORNING

If you have ever had the need to stay in the hospital then you how stressful it can be. This last week I ended up in MMH for 3 days. first to the emergency room where I was poked, prodded and squeezed. Then I was put in a room where I was looked after like I was the President of the world. The Drs and Nursing staff at MMH are among the best. They do their job professionally but with great care for the patient. I want to thank all the folks that were instrumental in my quick recovery. God bless and keep up the great work. george

GEORGE IN THE MORNING

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing two of our cheer leading team coaches, Cathy Mutter and Nicole Basack.
These ladies are extraordinary and need to be commended on their work and relationship with our girls. We talked about the change it was switching associations and the challenges of more teams to compete against. We also discussed the limited funds for weekend bus travel for our cheerleaders. Finally, we discussed how these young ladies have given to this community through their volunteerism and community service. thanks cheer team and parents.

I had the pleasure of talking to several members of our local quilting guild. I learned that they regularly donate quilts to worthy causes such as the cancer society and head start, along with returning service men. these ladies may spend years working on a quilt and then give it away. this is a must hear interview and will air next week.
