Battery “D” pf the Michigan light artillery will be at Fort Wilkins for the thirtieth year in a row under the command of Captain Newkirk.  They are a Civil  War re enactment group and will set up an actual camp as it was in the Civil War.  They fire the cannon out over the lake and the report is phenomenal. So if you get the chance to come see them this  weekend Friday  through Sunday tell them George sent ya.

Wetmore – The Tri- County Fire Department Annual Bazaar Junque Sale will be held on Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tri-County Fire Department, 15 miles south of Wetmore on H13.

There will be a market, a bake sale, a live auction, a silent suction, and a quilt raffle. Food, refreshments, and beer will be available. Kids will enjoy the games and Moon Walk. James Denkins Wood Carving will be there as well as live music.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Trenary/Limestone/Chatham – The Trenary-Limestone-Chatham Benefit Garden Walk will be held on Saturday, July 21 fro 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at seven local gardens.

Plant sales will be offered at some locations. Informal garden talks will take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Saberniak Garden. Proceeds will benefit local beautification projects.
