We are pleased to announce that as of August 1, 2019, Roam Media, Inc. has acquired WQXO 1400 AM / 97.7 FM in Munising, MI and WRPP 92.7 FM in Manistique, MI, previously under the management of Great Lakes Radio, Inc. We expect to provide you the same great radio stations you’re used to, with a little something new!
Leading our endeavors are Owners Tom Dolaskie & Darrin Hubbard, General Manager Casey Ford, and Managing Director Ana M. Dolaskie.
Roam Media, Inc. was created several years ago to provide a full suite of web and digital services to Roam, Inc and its sister companies within the Roam experience. We’ve enjoyed launching and managing the growth of several key businesses in the Munising community — including our latest acquisition of local radio!
Radio is woven into the very fabric of our small community. We believe our passion for local business, jobs, and communication allows us to deliver value through our stations. Our team has over 25 years of digital media and radio experience, with a very strong understanding between of the fusion between the digital and radio space.
On the local front, WQXO AM 1400 & 97.7 FM will once again the the home of Munising Mustang sports, with live streaming of football, and boys & girls basketball starting this Fall, 2019. The Superior Central Cougars will also have a new home, with an even bigger audience: WRPP 92.7 FM.
