The Munising Mustangs went to Ishpeming Hematites to play basketball against the # 1 rated team in the UP. The game was a low scoring game with only 19 points for each team at halftime. The 3rd & 4 quarters was no different than the first half with regulation time ending with 43 points for the Mustangs & Hematites. The Hematites Flanigan fouled out in the 3rd quarter.
The Hematites scored 14 points in overtime which was 4 minutes long.
Mustangs high scorers were Oas with 24 points, Vieth with 13 point, & Boucher with 10 points.
