Benefit Fundraiser for Jon Passinault – September 22nd

60

Munising, Michigan – Jon Passinault had a relapse of the leukemia that he had in 2007. He was transported to Mayo Clinic/Hospital from Marquette General on March 31st after the Doctors in Marquette said they couldn’t help him anymore.

Since Jon has been at Mayo he has completed two full rounds of chemo.. Each round takes 1 to 2 months, both of these rounds of chemo have failed and the leukemia is becoming more aggressive and resistant to the chemo drugs.

Presently Jon is in his third round of chemo. During Sept. he will be undergoing intense medical testing and conditioning chemo in preparation for his bone marrow transplant sometime in Sept. After that he will have to remain at Mayo for 3 to 4 months.

To help Jon with medical and housing expenses there will be a benefit for him at the Moose Lodge in Munising on Sept. 22 from 4-7 p.m. Dinner is $5.00 and includes your choice of brat, hot dog, or sloppy joe, chips coleslaw and dessert. There will also be a bake sale and raffle and silent auction.

A few of the items for the auction are 2 tickets to the Packer/Lion game on New Years Day, a Packer Autographed Football, 32″ Color TV and many more prizes. Come out and support someone who has always supported his community.
