Munising -A benefit for Makayla Whitehead, a Munising child who suffered injuries in a canine attack in May, will be held on Thursday, June 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bayshore Park in Munising.
There will be food from Johnny Dogs and the Cooking Carberrys, live music with Gator and The River Boys, kids’ games, face painting, a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale.
The cost for this event is $6 per person. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and blankets to the park as seating is limited.
