Munising, MI – The Mustangs are coming off of another nice win last week against former MPC rival Manistique. Austin Kelto once again led Munising against Manistique, tallying two rushing touchdowns and one passing. Kelto also scored the game-winner on a 25-yard scamper with 4:25 left in the game. That, combined with an interception on Manistiques last drive, sealed the victory for the Mustangs who have now won two in a row.
Munising will now travel to Ontonagon to take on the winless Gladiators. This will be the fourth week in a row that the Mustangs will be on the road, so I’m sure they’ll be happy to get this one out of the way. Munising should have a favorable match-up this Friday as Ontonagon has yet to break double digits in a game this season, or hold a team to less than 45 points defensively. So Austin Kelto & Co. should be able to put up some pretty decent numbers this Friday night.
