Mustangs go down in a very close hard-fought loss of 26-24 Bulldogs! Our Mustangs played with so much heart tonight and led the whole way. The Stangs went into the half ahead 18 to 0.Then in the 3rd, the Bull Dogs got 12 Mustangs 6 so the 3rd ended 24 to 12 Mustangs.
In the 4th quarter, the Inland Lakes Bulldogs got 6 more for 24 to 18. Mustang’s defense took the field against the Bulldogs with 3 minutes left and held the Bulldogs to a 4th and 10.
With 2 minutes left with a wide run right the Bulldogs tied up the ball game with a 2-point conversion try with 1min 20sec remaining. Then 2 points scored 26-24 Bulldogs.
Mustangs get the ball but an interception happened by Bulldogs at 1min 5sec.
Bulldogs put a knee down and the clock ran out on a great effort with the best game played all season coming up with a heartbreaking shortage at 9:37 pm – a loss; 26-24 Bulldogs.
