It was a good Home Coming parade downtown Munising at 3:30pm today, and a very fun tailgate party following at People State Bank. The bank pays for all of the goodies. Yards and yards of items were consumed with some 70+/- yards of hotdogs, and some 40+/- yards of pop consumed, along with other goodies given by Peoples State Bank.
Football Mustang Joe Kelley and Emmy Crisp are named Munising Homecoming King and Queen.
Mustangs scored tonight during Home Coming but St. Ignace was too tough to handle. It seems in 8 man football runner slip around the edge and score often. Just like last week Munising scored 64 to 0 over Brimley. But it was a tough battle tonight and the Mustangs go down to St. Ignace 58 – Mustangs 20. St, Ignace will probably be in the play offs.
