June 15, 2024- Marquette- The Westwood Mall was loaded with vintage iron, vintage vehicles, hot rods, trucks, 57 Chevys, 67 T-Birds, 76 Lincolns, Road Runners, a 2024 Vett, gorgeous GTO’s, and “The Thing”, just to name a few.
I played Good Time Oldies for medaBrew today and their Marquette station 97five GTO.fm. It was a blast. Organizer Bill Tibor said it was a record turn out, and at last count we were pushing 150 cars – trucks – hot rods- motorhomes – motorcycles. Most register when they come in, but several motorcycles, a new Camero, Chevy’s, etc. just didn’t register. They were a bit incognito.
A special thanks to Mark Johnson for excellent photography work again today. He’d be a good guy to invite to a special party, birthday, retirement, graduation, sports, to have excellent shots taken. Anyway, it was riot again this year and I appreciate being invited to play the Oldies, and emcee one of the best car shows in Marquette County!
