Ishpeming, Michigan – December 18, 2014 – Congratulations Phil Boyette! He won the grand prize at Great Lakes Radio’s Two Tickets to Paradise Givewaway. Holiday Travel and Funjet Vacations will be sweeping him off to a 5-night all-inclusive stay in Mexaco at the gorgeous Riu Palace.
Hopeful contestants lined up for their chance to win a tropical vacation. Who wouldn’t want to escape the UP’s winter to a vacation with 24-hour room service?
With a line winding right out the front door, Amy and DeeDee masterfully handled registration to get the contestants out of the cold and into the tropical themed Red Rock Lanes & Banquet Center. The Sunny Morning Show’s Walt Lindala welcomed the guests and kicked off the party! Back again, Elmer Aho greeted his many fans.
No Great Lakes Radio party would be complete without a delicious Italian dinner provided by Mama Russo’s. You just
can’t beat homemade salads, lasagna and tasty cudighi bites!
When all the plates were empty, Luke and Dennis took the mic to start everyone’s favorite game – BINGO. Once 8 lucky winners had come to the stage, each finalist chose their gift. Laura from Holiday Travel Vacations talked about what the lucky winner could look forward to with this vacation.
Paper ripping, the finalists tore open their presents and Phil Boyette jumped up and down with his gift box. Winner! Congratulations, Phil! We look forward to hearing all about your trip when you come back!
