Seney – Monarch Madness will be held on Sunday, August 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Seney National Wildlife Refuge.
This is a chance to participate in collecting and tagging monarch butterflies. Enjoy a day of Monarch education and citizen science.
The event will start with an orientation session and then participants will be in the field for about 3 hours. To complete the day, there will be a going away party for the butterflies, wishing them a safe journey to their winter grounds in Mexico.
