Munising Mustangs 9/30/2022
The Munising Mustangs gallop into their 2nd home game of the season, ready to trample over Pickford Panthers. they’ll need the wind behind them to take on the 4/1 Pickford team.
The Mustangs dominate in first quarter with 3 touchdowns. Micaiah Peramaki draws first blood with an 85 yard touchdown, followed by his brother Josiah with a touchdown of his own on a 42 yard run. Kane Nebel, adds a 40+ yard touchdown to the board to bring the first quarter to a close
2nd Quarter
The stampede continued throughout the 2nd quarter. An early touchdown and a tight defense lead by Andrew Cain, and Blake Walther force the Panthers into a safety.
Kane Nebel ends the first half with the Mustangs 2nd 80 yard touch down leaving the score at the half 46-0 and putting the Mustangs in perfect position to continue undefeated.
3rd Quarter
The Mustangs return to the field as the temperature on the field drops. Steam rises from their helmets as they receive the kick starting the 3rd quarter.
Tyler Nelson sprints the Mustangs into the first touchdown of the quarter, followed by Andrew Cain bringing the 2 point conversion and the score to 54-0. The Mustangs show no signs of slowing as the super running clock brings the quarter to a close.
4th quarter
As the 4th quarter opens the victory is all but set as the running clock continues to tick the game away. Munising lets no Panther pass as Cody Lincoln, Reagan Bowerman, and Logan Gould continue the overwhelming pressure, as the Mustangs continue forcing turn-overs.
Ashton Wymer, and Erven Ludy drag Panthers down the field as Tyler Nelson takes a knee to end the Mustangs resounding win over Pickford. 54-0
