Chapel Road Completely Closed to Vehicle and Foot Traffic – June 5-7
On June 5-7, the culvert crossing over Chapel Creek will be replaced.
Because the road section at the crossing will be completely removed, Chapel
Road will be closed.
Foot traffic will not be permitted due to extremely large construction
equipment at the site, Along with this safety concern, crossing the creek
will be impossible.
The Chapel Road closure will begin two miles south of the trailhead parking
area.
Hikers can reach the Chapel and Mosquito areas via the North Country Trail
from the west at Miners Beach and from the east at Little Beaver Lake.
