Munising, Michigan — It was a rare Friday night for the Mustangs, but temporarily you can hear Munising Mustang Sports on 103.3 The Country Extreme WFXD in Marquette while we make updates to our AM 1400 WQXO tower in Munising. You can still find your Mustangs, along with a live stream, and game updates/highlights on WQXO.com.
Munising Mustangs were up 6-0 over the Bark River-Harris Broncos early in the first quarter of play. At 2:22 left in the first quarter, Munising still holds a lead over Bark River-Harris 6-0. The Mustangs moved into Broncos territory, and score still stands at 6-0.
Moving into the second quarter, the Mustangs more than double their lead 14-0 over the Broncos. A time out was taken in the second quarter, and the Mustangs hold their lead 14-0. With 2:09 left in the second quarter, Bark River-Harris takes a time out. With 55 seconds left to go in the second quarter, the Mustangs are 14-0 over the Broncos.
At halftime the Broncos trail the Mustangs 22-0. Ryan Bars’ kicks have been 48-45-44. Jakob Coleman came right up the middle and got the ball back. It was a 60 yard run for Coleman. 16 seconds in the third quarter, Bark River-Harris is now up 22-6.
The Mustangs made a touchdown in the third quarter, and the score is now 30-6 over the Broncos.
Moving into the fourth quarter, the Bark River-Harris Broncos trail the Munising Mustangs 30-14. With 6:36 left in the fourth quarter, the Mustangs lead the Broncos 37-14. The Mustangs are now one game officially from the playoffs!
The Mustangs take the win Friday night over the Broncos 44-14.
